Goodness of Green (G.O.G.) — Return & Refund Policy

Applies to: Purchases made on/through www.goodnessofgreen.com or G.O.G.’s official channels within India.

We want you to love what you buy. If not, this policy explains when and how you can return items and receive a refund.

1) Eligibility & Return Window

  • Notify us within 30 (thirty) days of delivery to initiate a return.
  • Only unopened, unused bottles in their original condition and packaging (intact tamper-evident seal, labels, shrink-wrap/outer carton, inserts, and any freebies) are eligible.
  • Items that are opened, used, tampered with, or damaged (other than verified transit damage) are not eligible.

2) Non-Returnable Items

  • Items marked “final sale”, free samples, bundled freebies, or promotional giveaways.
  • Bulk/wholesale orders or suspected reseller purchases.
  • Items returned after 30 days from delivery.
  • Products without original packaging or with broken seals.

3) How to Initiate a Return

  1. Email hello@goodnessofgreen.com within 30 days of delivery with:
    • Order ID, full name, phone number
    • Product name(s) and quantity
    • Reason for return
    • Photos showing: intact seal, full bottle, outer carton, and shipping label
  2. Wait for our Return Authorization (RA) and instructions. Do not ship items without an RA.
  3. Pack securely to prevent damage in transit and write the RA number on the outer box.

4) Return Shipping & Charges

  • Change-of-mind or customer-initiated returns: you are responsible for return courier charges and risk until the parcel reaches our designated address.
  • Wrong item received / short shipment / damaged-in-transit: report within 48 hours of delivery with unboxing photos/videos and outer box images. Once verified, we’ll arrange a pickup or issue a prepaid label.

5) Inspection & Refund Timeline

  • On receipt, we complete quality check (QC) in 3–5 business days.
  • If approved, we process a refund to your original payment method within 5–10 business days (bank/card timelines may vary).
  • Non-refundable charges: original shipping fees, COD fees, and payment gateway charges—unless the return is due to our error.
  • If an item fails QC (opened/used/tampered/damaged), we’ll notify you. You may request reshipment to you at your cost within 7 days; unclaimed items may be safely disposed.

6) Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. Please complete the return process (if eligible) and place a new order.

7) Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items

  • Report issues within 48 hours of delivery via hello@goodnessofgreen.com with photos/videos (unboxing and outer carton).
  • After verification, we will replace the item or refund per Sections 4–5.

8) Bundles, Kits, and Offers

  • For returns of bundles/kits, all items (including freebies) must be returned together, unopened and in original condition.
  • If a promotional discount depended on keeping multiple items, the refund may be adjusted to reflect the price of items you keep.

9) Order Cancellations

  • You may request cancellation before dispatch by contacting hello@goodnessofgreen.com.
  • Once dispatched, please follow the return process above.

10) Suspected Abuse, Resale, or Policy Misuse

G.O.G. may limit or refuse returns, refunds, or future services in cases of excessive returns, suspected abuse/fraud, product tampering, or resale activity in violation of our Terms.

11) Refund Method Details

  • Prepaid orders: refunded to the original payment method (UPI/card/net-banking/wallet).
  • COD orders: refunded via bank transfer/UPI after QC approval (we’ll request your details securely).
  • We cannot refund to a different method/account.

12) Your Responsibilities (Safe Return)

  • Use sturdy outer packaging; include all original contents.
  • Keep the proof of return dispatch and tracking until your refund is complete.
  • Returns that are lost/damaged in transit without our prepaid label are the sender’s responsibility.

13) Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights available under Indian law (including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019). Where such rights apply and cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

14) Privacy & Verification

  • We process your return using the minimum personal data necessary (Order ID, contact and payment details, photos for QC and fraud prevention), consistent with our Privacy Policy.
  • We may verify identity and purchase records before issuing an RA or refund.
  • Data is retained only as long as needed for returns, accounting, compliance, and fraud prevention.
